Once you receive your new building begin by unpacking the pre-cut framing, doors and hardware. You will also receive a detailed manual with step by step instructions. Each step is explained with clear instructions and detailed line art and has been developed with the novice builder in mind. Best Barns wood shed kit components fit easily into place with no special tools or skills required!

All required hardware including door hinges, latch, nails, hurricane hangers, glue for gussets and detailed instruction manual. Shingles, roof edge and garage door provided by owner. Our windows are crafted from durable aluminum and come with decorative, paintable vinyl shutters for each side. They include lockable frames and integrated screens to help keep both pests and intruders out.

Two sizes are available: 18" x 27" and 18" x 36". Both options are compatible with all shed kits. The 27" height is typically well-suited for a 6'-4" wall, while the 36" height complements an 8'-1" wall; however, these are Best Barns’ recommendations. Your final choice should reflect your personal style and the look you want for your shed.

Engineered for heavy-duty use, the kit features 4x4 pressure-treated runners, 2x4 treated floor joists spaced 12" on center, 3/4" thick 4x8 plywood sheets, and all the necessary hardware. Crafted from premium treated lumber, the FortressFloor is built to withstand demanding loads and harsh weather conditions. Please note that materials are not pre-cut, so simple straight cuts are required during assembly. The floor kit ships separately from your building and will be delivered by a local lumber dealer, who will contact you to schedule delivery. Someone must be present to receive and sign for the shipment.
