While the 27" window is generally well-proportioned for a 6'-4" wall and the 36" window complements an 8'-1" wall, these recommendations reflect Best Barns’ design opinion. The final selection should be based on the customer’s personal preference and desired aesthetic.

OPTIONAL FLOOR:

Enhance your Best Barns Crafter's Connection shed kit with the FortressFloor, a high-quality, commercial-grade flooring system that adds both strength and style. This optional upgrade creates a solid, level base while lifting your shed off the ground for extra protection against moisture and decay.

Designed for durability, the package includes 4x4 pressure-treated runners, 2x4 treated joists spaced 16" on center, 3/4" thick 4x8 plywood panels, and all required hardware. Constructed from premium treated lumber, the FortressFloor is built to handle heavy loads and withstand tough weather conditions.

Please note, materials are not pre-cut, so only simple straight cuts will be needed during assembly. The floor kit is shipped separately from your shed and delivered by a local lumber supplier, who will contact you to set up a delivery time. A person must be available to receive and sign for the order. This flooring system is a smart upgrade that ensures long-term stability, protection, and functionality for your new building.
