SUMMARY: Excellent product! The instructions are not as clear as they need to be. Some of the drawings of the parts and of the assembly are not quite correct. Some things were left open to interpretation. For me, I have a very good mechanical background and I ran into some serious troubles because of the level issues. I was at the outer limits of what my experience and knowledge could bring, but I did it. The outcome was worth all of the trouble, although I sure wished it could have been easier! (Most of this was self-inflicted I might add).

PLEASE NOTE - if you get anything out of this review, remember it is critical for the side of your house to be exactly vertical, and for the concrete slab to be level in the front to back and side to side dimensions! If this is not the case, you will have to trim to fit almost every structural piece and panel! Also be aware of the outer dimensions of the product. Read below for more details on that! Also, BEFORE starting your build, check ALL the pieces of the kit to make sure they quantity of each part number is there, and check everything for shipping damage. The corrugated roof panels are prone to damage, and I also had 1 of the solid polycarbonate panels that was damaged as well. The customer service is excellent. I can't say enough good about them! Here are a portion of comments I made on my FB page today about this sun room/greenhouse: -------------------------------------------- This is a project that has been brewing for a few years now. I researched greenhouse kits, and tried to figure out how to put one in our yard where it makes sense. Why we wanted it was to protect our plants and flowers that are killed by freezing temperatures over the winter. Perhaps some other gardening tasks such as growing fruits or other types of flowers may be possible. I finally figured out where I wanted the greenhouse, and what kind and size would be appropriate. Then I had to find one. That was pretty hard. I searched for months until I found one made by an Israeli company (Rion/Palram) that fit my requirements. Not only did it have to fit the space, but it had to be high quality and relatively inexpensive. Early this year when I found the model I wanted, I found out they were on a global shortage due to the pandemic restrictions. I checked periodically at all the websites for their US distributors and always got the dreaded "out of stock" notice next to the listing for this model. One day I was trying them again and one of the distributors (Sheds Direct) did not give me that out of stock notice. I called them right up to find out if this was an error, as all the other distributors still showed out of stock. They said let's call the manufacturer and see (the product is drop-shipped from the manufacturer's US warehouse in Minnesota.) They answered and the person with the distributor asked if they were really in stock and they said yes, they had just gotten 20 of this model and expected them to go FAST. So I bought one right then and there. That was in early July. It came within a week via motor freight. Three large and heavy boxes! I should have unboxed the greenhouse parts earlier, but was waiting for the concrete pad to be poured As I was trying to lay out the base, I almost instantly found 1 of the parts was missing from the kit, and two of another part (but with similar part numbers to the missing part) were included instead. At this point, I decided to go through all the parts to make sure nothing else was missing. To make a long story short, I had to have their customer service make 4 different shipments of parts to me. I later discovered some parts were damaged in shipping, and in one case I gave them a wrong part number, so I got another extra part I couldn't use. I also damaged 1 part while installing it. Their customer service is superior! They covered the shipping and the cost of the parts in all 4 shipments via FedEx - even for my mistakes . Once I started building the greenhouse, I ran into all sorts of geometric assembly problems. The slab was not as level as it had to be, and the side of the house was not quite as vertical as it had to be. This caused an additive problem of "stack up error", which is error in dimensions that get worse over distance or when added either above/below or side to side with another part. This caused me to have to custom trim and fit almost every part in the kit, which took a LONG time, and was quite frustrating! To clarify, this is a "lean-to" type greenhouse which uses the side of the house as one of its walls. This was the only good way to put the greenhouse in our yard (on the side of the house) without it sticking out like a "green thumb". The size of the greenhouse stated as 6x8 feet, although it is actually larger than this, around 6 feet 4 inches by around 8 feet 8 inches. I found out they were talking about the inside of the base of the greenhouse, not including the width of the base/wall parts. Fortunately I knew about this up front. I had read reviews of this product where people took them at their word it was a 6x8 and had a slab made for 6x8, only to find out it wouldn't fit! They also said you need at least 2 inches of concrete beyond the outside dimensions of the greenhouse. Always read, read, read the instructions first! I finally got it done today. It still needs some caulking around the edges next to the house but that is not critical. In the future, I will also add a water faucet inside the greenhouse, and I already have a small greenhouse heater. I plan to add a thermostatically controlled riser for the vent, and probably some louvers for thermostatically controlled forced air ventilation. Those extra things aren't needed at this point. There is already an outlet on the side of the house which is now inside the greenhouse. Perfect planning? Probably just luck. I also had to move a sprinkler head, a termite bait station and install the slab drain to the existing drainage system from the gutters that was put in when the sprinkler system was done earlier this year. I do recommend if you pour a slab to put a drain in the center of the slab, slightly below level and have the concrete finishers hand-trowel down to the drain. Keep 6-8 inches around the3 open sides of the slab level before starting to curve it down to the drain. This will allow the base parts to fit level and not curved in.
