The Maker’s Loft 16x20 XL Garage Kit is designed for maximum flexibility, featuring a full second-floor loft and a convenient built-in staircase. Whether you're storing equipment, building custom projects, or creating a cozy retreat, this structure provides the solid foundation you need. Built with home-quality construction standards, it includes residential-grade 2x4 framing spaced 16" on center and a robust 2x6 SecureTruss roof system. The classic gambrel roof adds generous vertical clearance, while LP SmartSide engineered wood siding offers lasting durability and a smooth, paint-ready finish.

On the main level, the garage layout includes a single-car parking space with an 8'W x 6'6"H opening suitable for most small SUVs and trucks (garage door not included). The remaining floor area can be customized for a workshop, office, or expanded storage. It’s spacious enough to accommodate ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, small tractors, and riding mowers. Upstairs, the loft features a 7'1" peak height, providing excellent room for storage, a home office, or a quiet reading space. You can further personalize the building with your choice of windows, doors, shingles, and flooring.

Enhance your garage with an optional side entry door for added convenience!
Choose between a six-panel or nine-window steel door, both featuring an aluminum threshold and lock set for a secure, finished look. When ordering, be sure to specify the hinge side so we can send the correct door configuration. The door is designed to swing inward into the garage.
