Consult local building codes before assembly. This shed must be built on a flat level foundation of wood or concrete (not included). It is designed with a slight indentation in each corner of the floor so that you can drill through the flooring to secure it to the foundation. Anchoring hardware depends on the type of foundation you have and is therefore not included in the shed kit. Not including the installation of the foundation, you can expect assembly of the shed itself to take 2 adults up to 6 hours.

Note: Not compatible with the Lifetime Extreme Weather Kit. Use model 60144 for snow load trusses if you live in an area with heavy snow.

Bought this to store all of my pool equipment, and winter storage for patio furniture and garden equipment. I couldn’t be happier with the storage space. We placed on a concrete pad, install wasn’t too bad, between the manual and the video pretty straightforward. A couple of the screws for the roof didn’t work but we improvised and it turned out great!! Very happy and satisfied with my purchase!!!

It took longer to construct the pad and platform than it did to put the shed together. A man's Lego kit :) We checked it after a couple rainstorms and there was no water on the inside. We caulked the seams as a precaution as we are using it for long-term storage. Krylon Fusion canned paint did a beautiful job changing the shed to light gray with white trim. Smooth transaction with shedsdirect!

Build a 'foundation' / 'platform' for the shed. It seems to be a good shed overall. There are some gaps around screws and where pieces come together so I ordered some marine silicone just to make sure winter isn't too hard on it.

Shipping and delivery was very good, given the state of LTL shipping at this time. This gave me time to build the platform needed for the shed. Parts and pieces were all here and in order to make assembly easier. Only issue was a mixup on my part for some of the hardware to attach the shutters got mixed with other hardware so had to improvise. Very pleased with finished product. Withstood a couple of rain storms and stayed dry.

Very pleased with our new shed. My wife and I shopped around for a few months before we made the purchase. This was the best price compared to other retailers. It shipped fast. The shed was super easy to assemble with just my wife and I. I rated this four stars because the shutters came with huge scratches on them and gouges. They were not packaged properly. The price on the shed was great but still expensive. So when I pay for something I expect every part to be flawless.

We give this product 5 stars because we believe that it is all worth the price, the material and style. It took my husband 8 hours to assemble by himself. I will give the video (referenced on the manual) more credit for informational purposes although the model shown on video is not exactly the same. The key is to have all pieces assembled before you put the whole thing together. My husband and 5 year old nephew (helper) had lots of fun putting the "Big Lego house" together. Totally great alternative product now that lumber prices are skyrocketing.

The printed instructions are not correct. If you buy this shed, do yourself a favor and download the app on your phone. It takes a lot of the guess work out of the printed directions.

Well worth the price. Best to have a helper, but I did it myself with strategic use of folding ladders. Look up "Lifetime Shed Full Assembly" on youtube for absolutely amazing series of videos on assembling this. Be VERY careful to check the bags; it's easy to mix up the screws used on the shutters for the screws used for the sides!

LOVE my shed! I have never ordered something that I had to put together and have EVERY PIECE fit perfectly, all holes lined up, nothing missing, no undrilled holes or connections hard to make even. Don't get me wrong, it took longer than the 6 hours with 2 people, but worth every minute. So well made! Couldn't be happier!

The product shipped very timely and arrived in great shape. The issue was in the assembly. The flooring instructions are not very clear as to how to assemble the floor so the door insert will align with the holes in the floor. Everything that is for either the left or right is given a different code. The center flooring pieces all have the same code so when assembling it appeared that the only thing that we had to do was to put the pieces in all the same direction. This is not correct. The two pieces in the center should be turned 180 from each other. The configuration of the holes for the door assembly won't fit if all of the pieces are the same direction. Secondly, when installing the center peak sections on the roof, the center holes were not screwing together properly. The would not catch the top piece to secure it in the prefabbed hole. We had to place a screw in beside the prefabbed hole in order to secure the top section. Thirdly, do not install the shelves until the end. When you install the shutters the markings will most likely end up behind a shelf support. I almost skipped that section because I really thought it was unnecessary to install them prior to finishing the shed assembly but after further discussion we decided it must be there for a reason. Well, it isn't. It makes absolutely no difference in the structure of the shed and the got in the way of finishing the assembly. It took us about 18 hours to finish the entire assembly. We ended up drilling a new hole in the floor for the left door assembly and the locking pin. It worked out in the end but added a little more time and a lot of frustration to the project. We got a heavy rain the day after finishing the project and I am happy to report that we had no leaks. Overall the shed appears to be good quality. We had an 8' x 6' vinyl shed prior to this one. It was much easier to assembly (just had to slide the wall pieces together) and it survived an F-4 tornado. I don't know if this one would but hopefully I will never have to find out.

The shed definitely needs 2-3 people helping to build it. The instructions were good; the only odd thing was having you put the shelves up before you install the shutters. We had to take the shelves down to get into the spaces where we had to drill and screw to install the shutters. Other than that, it's been easy. We placed it on a raised frame made from concrete blocks, 2x8's, gravel and plywood. It might be overkill but we wanted this shed to have a place where it could be for a long time. Shopping on the Sheds Direct site was easy. I loved that the gave you options for things that would go with the purchase (we chose the snow load trusses because of our snowy winters in NH). Shipping took about a week and a half but I was updated along the way. Delivery was a cinch, the driver was here before 8 am which was perfect for us. All in all, this was a successful transaction, the shed is beautiful and we would recommend to anyone looking for a shed to check here first.

Assembly was straight forward. Lots of parts, spread them out and organize first. Once done it is worth it. The sheds is very nice inside and out. It looks super nice. It seems to be well made and strong. My son hung from the roof trusses if that gives you any idea. Good size, good price, overall happy with this shed.

The assembly was straight forward. You just have to organized all the parts for easy assembly plus a 2 or 3 couple of person to help out. The shed is very nice and it definitely added a beauty to my garden, plus they have the free tool corral that is very useful for me. Overall super happy and very satisfied!
