Once you receive your new building begin by unpacking the pre-cut framing, doors and hardware. You will also receive a detailed manual with step by step instructions. Each step is explained with clear instructions and detailed line art and has been developed with the novice builder in mind.

These countries require a more stringent grading system than US standards insuring only the best lumber is used in your shed kit.

OPTIONAL FLOOR
Upgrade your Best Barns Crafter's Connection shed kit with the FortressFloor, a commercial-grade wood flooring system designed to enhance both durability and appearance. This optional floor kit provides a solid, level foundation while raising your building off the ground to protect against moisture and rot. Engineered for heavy-duty use, the kit includes 4x4 pressure-treated runners, 2x4 treated floor joists spaced 16" on center, 3/4" thick 4x8 plywood sheets, and all necessary hardware. Built with premium treated lumber, the FortressFloor is made to withstand demanding loads and harsh climates. Please note that materials are not pre-cut- simple straight cuts are required during assembly. The floor kit ships separately from your building and is delivered by a local lumber dealer, who will contact you to arrange a delivery time. Someone must be present to receive and sign for the delivery. This flooring upgrade is a smart, long-lasting investment in the stability and function of your new structure.

OPTIONAL WINDOWS
Our windows are made of durable aluminum and include decorative, paintable vinyl shutters for each side. They feature lockable frames and integrated screens to help keep both intruders and pests out.

Choose between two sizes: 18"x27" or 18"x36". Both window sizes are compatible with all shed kits. While the 27" high window is generally well-proportioned for a 6'-4" wall, and the 36" high window complements an 8'-1" wall, these recommendations are based on Best Barns' design opinion. Final selection should reflect your personal preference and desired aesthetic.
