Founded with a mission to protect lives in the face of severe weather, Survive-A-Storm Shelters has grown to become one of America’s most trusted storm shelter manufacturers. Headquartered in the USA, we proudly design, build, and ship residential and community tornado shelters nationwide serving 48 states with the widest distribution network in the industry. Our products are available in over 110 Home Depot stores across nine states, as well as online. This accessibility reflects our commitment to making life-saving protection available to families, businesses, schools, and communities across Tornado Alley and beyond. Survive-A-Storm’s residential storm shelters and safe rooms are engineered to meet or exceed FEMA 320 guidelines and are tested to withstand EF5 tornadoes. We install nearly every unit we sell, using our own team of factory-trained professionals. Our shelters are backed by our membership in the National Storm Shelter Association (NSSA) and tested at Texas Tech University to ensure they meet the highest safety standards. Over the years, our reputation has grown. We have earned the trust of Fortune 500 companies, the U.S. military, school districts, churches, and local governments. Under our commercial contractor licenses, we’ve delivered complex storm shelter projects across the country, including large-scale installations like 14 underground tornado shelters for Kia Motors in Georgia.
